Biography

R. Kyle Miller is the owner and managing attorney of Miller Law Offices, PLLC, a Pascagoula-based criminal defense firm serving clients across the Mississippi Gulf Coast. His practice focuses on DUI defense and related criminal and traffic matters, including felony DUI, boating under the influence, commercial-driver traffic citations, license-suspension matters, expungements, and hunting and fishing violations. Kyle brings an unusual depth of experience from both sides of the courtroom. Before concentrating his practice on criminal defense, he served three and a half years as the elected County Prosecutor for Jackson County. He currently serves as the Gautier Municipal Court Public Defender, a position he has held for two years. Across his prosecution and defense work, Kyle has handled more than 1,500 DUI matters and tried more than 250 DUI cases. That experience shapes a practical, trial-focused approach to every case. Kyle understands how prosecutors and law-enforcement officers evaluate evidence, prepare witnesses, and identify the strengths and weaknesses of a case. He uses that perspective to examine the legality of the stop and arrest, field-sobriety testing, breath or blood evidence, video recordings, officer testimony, and procedural requirements.
